SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

AZ TAX CREDIT OPPORTUNITIES

The Private School Tax Credit Program is your best option to reduce tuition costs. This program allows anyone that pays Arizona State taxes to help with tuition costs for your child with a direct tax credit to the donor. The Arizona Private School Tax Credit allows AZ taxpayers to create scholarships for students at Christ Greenfield School by making a donation to the Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization (ACSTO) and receiving a dollar-for-dollar tax credit. This credit directly reduces the taxpayer’s annual Arizona income tax liability. The AZ Private School Tax Credit is a valuable tool for expanding Christian education AND tax planning. Families utilizing the Tax Credits have the opportunity to get tuition FULLY covered! Learn more about utilizing tax credits for your student at ACSTO.org, and become a donor today! Applications open each year on February 3rd for the following school year.

LOW INCOME SCHOLARSHIPS

Some families may be eligible for additional corporate tax credit scholarships based on their income. Please review the income guidelines for the 2025-26 school year Here. If your annual gross income on your 2024 tax return is less than the amount on the chart, you may qualify for income-based scholarships. While corporate scholarships are helpful, Christ Greenfield still recommends parents continue working towards getting individual tax credit donations in addition to utilizing corporate STOs. If you qualify for low-income scholarships, please carefully review the following applications and deadlines to maximize your Low Income Scholarships.

School Choice Arizona -- Apply March 1, due May 15.

ESA: EMPOWERMENT SCHOLARSHIP ACCOUNTS
CGS ESA Step-By-Step

The Arizona Department of Education offers families the opportunity of school choice with the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA). ESA is a K-12 program that is funded by state tax dollars to provide education options for Arizona students. The ESA program provides a spending account to fund education expenses, such as private school tuition, tutoring services, educational therapies, online learning, textbooks, and more. Families can expect to receive between $4,000- $7,000 for the academic year. A student who is receiving ESA funds is unable to accept Tax Credit Scholarships for the same fiscal year.
