Beginning With A Preschool
In January of 1986, a small group of education-minded congregants at Christ Greenfield Lutheran Church formed Christ Greenfield Lutheran Preschool. The preschool opened its doors that year to six students. Since then, thousands of children have been through our preschool and prekindergarten programs.
Our preschool provides educational excellence in an atmosphere of Christian love. In partnership with parents, we have provided a developmentally appropriate, activity-based, and Christ-centered curriculum to meet children’s spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical needs. Christ Greenfield Preschool is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and was one of the first preschools in the Phoenix metropolitan area to become nationally accredited. We have maintained the strict standards of NAEYC accreditation since 1998.
Kindergarten And Beyond
To meet the need for expanded Christian education, Christ Greenfield School added a kindergarten class in 1995. Current enrollment includes Kindergarten through eighth grade.
Over the past few decades, Christ Greenfield School has continued to grow, serving roughly 300 students in elementary and middle school classes.
God has truly blessed Christ Greenfield School with students, parents, teachers, and staff who have formed a close-knit family who care and support each other as we grow together in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord and His creation.
We are associated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. We hold that the Holy Bible is the inerrant Word of God given to His people as a guide, rule, and norm for living. The faculty and staff are committed to assisting parents in developing their children in mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the world.
Breaking Ground & Expanding Our Programs
In the fall of 2022, Christ Greenfield School began a process of development on opening a high school. On August 8th, 2023 high school classes began, as Christ Greenfield High School officially opened in the Journey Center/Learning Studio. The community of Christ Greenfield Church and School celebrated the breaking ground and construction of a gymnasium, and classroom expansion.
